   Where is the cement backer board under the tiles? Especially in a bathroom? Priming? Waterproofing ?

    OMG – I was waiting for them to put some kind of uncoupling membrane down but it never happened. I'm not a tiler by trade and even I saw the obvious error.

    30 Broken tiles later, you might, if you are lucky, finally have tiled around the pedestal. Alternatively you could remove it and tile underneath it, but where is the profit in that? We can't just rely on the tiles which you have just laid on floorboards cracking and you reutrning for more within 6 months.

    WRONG don't fallow this directions. Don't tile on such floor. Your tiles WILL crack within days of foot trafic

    Shocking, tiling on to floorboards! Use 12mm wbp plywood or Hardiebacker cement boards screwed every 200mm. Also the size of your notched trowel will be determined by grout line size and the size of your tile. This video showed tile adhesive being squeezed through the joints. This must be removed or it will affect your grout. Clearly this video is designed to make tiling look simple to bring beginners into their shops to buy their products.

    Topps tiles.. A byword for shite, straight on to floorboards ? Really,
    I know of no adhesive manufacturer that would advise this nowadays, what a shower of shite!
